About the Directors

Venn is a highly regarded executive who has worked in the fields of economics and financial services for over twenty five years. He has held senior positions in the UK and Australia in firms specialising in financial advice.

Venn with Louise Gooden set up Halogen Financial Services in 2002 to empower people to take control of their financial future through education and action. He delivers seminars on wealth creation to executive groups and corporations, and as a result is in demand at home and abroad as a conference speaker.

Venn has been a director and board member of two public companies in the funds management and finance broking sectors. He has also been the CEO of a licensed securities dealer and a board member and director of a financial services organisation listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.

Venn is a Senior Member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia and is bound by the Association’s Code of Ethics and Rules of Professional Conduct. Venn is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).

Louise joined the financial services industry in 1991 and has become a highly sought-after professional adviser providing high level strategic advice and investment guidance to a wide group of clients. Her commitment to service and long term relationships has differentiated her in an industry often focused on transactions versus people.

Louise with Venn set up Halogen Financial Services in 2002 in the belief that with the right education and advice anyone can create wealth and achieve financial independence. She felt it was time to address a growing need in the community to educate and empower all Australians to take control of their financial future and ensure they live a lifestyle commensurate with their years of work.

Prior to becoming a Director at Halogen Louise was a General Manager and Associate Director of a leading financial services company both in Melbourne and Sydney.

Louise has been a key supporter of various charities including The Starlight Foundation as she believes in sharing the financial success of her clients with others less fortunate.

Louise is a Member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia and is bound by the Association’s Code of Ethics and Rules of Professional Conduct.
